Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and nurturing care for newborns and infants.
- Support families with newborn routines, feeding, hygiene, and sleep practices.
- Monitor and report any concerns regarding the baby’s health or wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for the baby.
- Educate and encourage parents using respectful and evidence-based practices.
- Follow family care plans while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with parents and other healthcare professionals when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, Child Care, Early Childhood Development, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Training or experience in newborn care, maternity care, or postpartum support.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day, night, or 24-hour shifts.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and respect for family privacy.
